Undergraduate Research in Dr. Secor's Lab
I welcome to my laboratory undergraduate students interested in assisting with or undertaking independent research projects. Student projects vary and I work with each student to find a project that suits their interests. Each student is enrolled in BSC 398 for 1-4 hours each semester. Requirements include being able to work independently, as well as with a team of students, on research projects and being comfortable around live animals (invertebrates, fishes, amphibians, and reptiles). All students in my lab share in the responsibility of animal care and will received training prior to doing so.
Students interested in working in my laboratory should contact me (ssecor@ua.edu) to set up a time to meet and discuss work in my lab.
